This past Sunday, we spent the morning at Doof-a-palooza (doof is food spelled backwards) and Maddy had fun at this kid-centric event that allowed the kids to learn about healthy eating and sustainable and organic food practices through fun activities. But of course, Maddy couldn't resist the gigantic yellow slide. Let's do it again daddy!

pizza party at the park
Today, Maddy's friend Christopher celebrated his 3rd birthday at a nearby park in Alameda. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all. Maddy was happy to see a few old friends from daycare whom she hasn't seen in a few months since starting at preschool earlier this year.
Maddy was back in Ms. Marva's arms. She fondly remembers her time as Marva's Happy Town where she spent almost one year of her young life.
Maddy was more than happy to be the center of attention. She donned the birthday hat that the birthday boy refused to wear and he even allowed Maddy to help him open up some of his presents. Well, he almost had no choice in the matter because she was circling his presents like a shark about to attack its prey.
