maddy's first mani-pedi

Yes, I know, she's only three and a half years old.  If it were entirely up to me, Maddy's first mani-pedi would've occurred years and years down the line.  Luckily for Maddy, Auntie Rachel invited Maddy to her nail spa, Zaza, in San Francisco.  Maddy got first class treatment, complete with a foot soak and massage.  If only we all could be treated this well...at three.  I hope you appreciate it, little princess!

Maddy was all smiles during her treatment.  Maddy chose pink polish with sparkles on her fingernails and purple polish with sparkles on her toes.  She even got little flowers painted onto her thumbs and big toes.  Aside from her haircuts, I've never seen her sit so still for so long!

Maddy actually became impatient while her polish was drying and wanted to check out what color the other little girl in the salon chose for her toes.  Maddy ruined her toes while running around and she had to have them painted again......

....this time in blue!

plastic bags

Maddy was quietly playing by herself inside her tent which is very unusual for her.  When she came out, I lifted up her tent to discover what she was up to.  Ah, yes, she was busy with her plastic bags.  Maddy loves to put things in bags, especially little plastic sandwich bags.

great america

Maddy was able to spend some quality time with Amah and Apa (grandparents) at Great America.  Although it rained, it turned out to be a good thing because a lot of people left which meant shorter lines for Maddy.  Yea!  She didn't quite meet the 36" height requirement for the kiddie roller coaster, but being the clever trickster that she is, Maddy simply stood on her tippy toes when nobody was paying attention.
