picture day is tomorrow

Maddy was wearing that sticker above and when I pointed it out to her, she said, "You take a shower, you comb your hair and you dress in fancy clothes."

maddy wants a bunny

I've been mostly ignoring Maddy's request for a bunny lately.  She said she wants two pets, Baxter and a brown bunny.  I told her bunnies aren't a good idea and a bunny would be sad living in a cage because we wouldn't be able to let it run around the house like Baxter.  And then, while perusing the internet with Maddy this morning, we accidentally happened upon this:

pumpkin patch

Maddy took a trip to the pumpkin patch at G&M Farm.  Daddy and I didn't come along, but Uncle Terrence was able to text me these photos of her day.  Is that a tattoo on her arm? 

kung fu

Maddy's enthusiasm for Kung Fu far exceeds her enthusiasm for ballet.  It actually is a better outlet for all of her energy.  When we arrived at Amah's house after lessons, Amah said, "What happened to the little princess?  Now she's like a boy!"
