labor day

Today, we enjoyed a day at the beach...the dog beach at Fort Funston.  It was a glum day, but it wasn't as cold as it looks in the pictures.  We were in San Francisco after all.  While Baxter frolicked in the ocean, Maddy collected rocks and seashells.  As we walked along the beach, we found many things washed up onto the beach: sea kelp, jellyfish, and teeny tiny crabs.  We even ran into a family who was digging for beach worms to use as fish bait.

Baxter really enjoyed himself.  If he could talk, he looked as if he was saying "weeeeeeeeee!" the whole time.
